Why wouldn't she let him go !!!!

She features as the 9th most powerful person on the earth, he at 18th. Her residence 10, janpath is the most well known address of the country, his, 7, race course is the second most well known (but then it's mostly because it has always been housing the eminent prime ministers of india). She is a bad orator, he even worse.
yes!!We definitely are talking about the Sonia Gandhi- Manmohan Singh duo who runs the country today, though exactly who among them is not very clear. So why does a lady who is the most powerful person in a country and running it virtually doesn't come up to hold the official position of the prime minister of the country. It's very obvious, she doesnt have the lust for power. We respect you for that, ma'm.
But then there's another question which is far more intriguing. If you do step down from being a
prime ministerial candidate, why couldn't you let the PM candidate be decided by a democratic
vote of the elected Congress MP's. Why did you have to impose a candidate upon them, and most importantly a debatable candidate in the form of Manmohan Singh when you had better or atleast more formidable choices in the form of Pranab Mukherjee and Arjun Singh. Ahh!!! i definitely am not a Arjun Singh fan and i detest him like every one of you do, but then i have always heard that seniority is very crucial in politics, infact more than competence. I am just a little intrigued at this very fundamental principle being contradicted here.
So now the selection(rather than election, as would be expected in a democracy) of Manmohan
Singh for the coveted post definitely leaves us to a lot of conjecturing. The most plausible reasons that i find for such a stupid act of an otherwise so wise lady is that she could have found a lot more able candidates in the congress party but then not a candidate such obedient and obsequious as Manmohan Singh. Also we aren't going to buy the claim that he is an overrated
economist and an underrated politician as the congress party spokespersons keep chorusing ,for
history veritably denies both parts of the claim. While nobody including me would take a word
against the honesty and integrity of Manmohan Singh,if only being honest was sufficient for
being the P.M of India, my domestic help ramu would definitely have been a better candidate, he is far too honest.
So mr. P.M, while we definitely respect you for all your good qualities and past deeds, it's time that even you gain some respect for yourself and stop acting as just a proxy for your madam. We as a part of the world's largest democracy, definitely deserve something better from our prime minister. Hope u realise !!!
yet another amazing read frm u...
